Interview

Enzo De Amorim

Hello Enzo,
Today, we have the privilege of speaking with Enzo De Amorim, graduate and alumni of EHG in 2022

Hello Enzo, can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Enzo De Amorim, a graduate of the Hotel Management School Geneva,  with a background focused on hospitality and management. I have had the opportunity to gain solid experience in the luxury sector, notably at Lamborghini Geneva, where I currently work as Marketing & CRM Manager.

Before joining the Geneva Hospitality School (EHG), you obtained a baccalaureate in hotel and catering sciences and technologies. What factors influenced your decision to pursue studies in this field?

My passion for hospitality and service has always guided me. I chose to study hospitality and catering because this sector combines my interest in human interaction, management, and service excellence. The hospitality baccalaureate was, therefore, an obvious choice for me to develop my skills in this field.

Why did you choose to continue your education at the Geneva Hospitality School (EHG)?

The EHG has an excellent reputation in the hospitality industry. I chose this school for its balanced practical and academic approach, as well as for the professional opportunities it offers. Moreover, the city of Geneva is an international hub for luxury hospitality, which allowed me to create valuable connections for my career.

In your opinion, what sets EHG apart from other hospitality schools?

EHG stands out for its personalized approach and focus on practical experience. Small class sizes and direct access to teachers allow for close student supervision, while mandatory internships provide hands-on experience in the industry.

If you had to summarize your experience at EHG in three words, which would you choose and why?

Rich, formative, and inspiring. These three words reflect the diversity of experiences I had at EHG, the quality of the teaching, and the professional opportunities that resulted from it.

What was the most memorable event or moment for you during your studies?

The most memorable moment was my internship at Lamborghini Geneva. It was an incredible opportunity to work in a globally recognized luxury brand, and it greatly influenced my professional direction.

Your professional journey started with internships in catering in Carcassonne, then at Servette FC, and eventually as an administrative and marketing assistant intern at Lamborghini Geneva. Could you describe your career path in more detail, highlighting the significant impacts these experiences had on your professional development?

My journey began with an internship in catering in Carcassonne, where I learned the importance of rigor and organization. My time at Servette FC helped me understand event management and the importance of teamwork. Finally, at Lamborghini Geneva, I was able to combine my marketing and management skills in a luxury environment, which was decisive for my current career.

What motivations or ambitions guided these internship choices, and how have they contributed to your career progression?

My internships were chosen with the goal of acquiring a comprehensive view of the industry, from service to management to marketing. Each experience brought me complementary skills that shaped my professional profile.

You are currently working as Marketing & CRM Manager at Lamborghini Geneva, could you tell us more about your position, and what you enjoy most about what you do?

As Marketing & CRM Manager, I am responsible for managing marketing campaigns, analyzing customer data, and ensuring customer loyalty. What I enjoy most is being able to combine creativity and strategy while directly interacting with a demanding clientele.
